Among flatweaves, the Senneh kilims of Persian Kurdistan set the standard for fineness — a great concentric diamond medallion over a field so densely sown with tiny blossoms it reads like brocade. This vintage handwoven wool kilim follows that celebrated design faithfully: an elongated charcoal, crimson and blush-pink medallion, layered band on band, resting on a warm ivory ground packed with miniature flowers, leaves and curling vines. At 8'8" x 11'8" it brings kilim delicacy to full room-size scale, and with no pile it lies flat, wears hard and can even be reversed. The dusty pink and crimson against ivory suit both traditional rooms and modern spaces hunting for texture. One of a kind, in fine vintage condition.
