About this rug

Decades of light and life have faded this 1960s hand-knotted Afghan Bokhara rug to a warm sandy wheat — the original octagonal guls now appear as soft ghost impressions across the field, barely there but unmistakably present. The result is one of the most coveted looks in contemporary interiors: a genuinely neutral, organic rug that brings warmth without pattern or color competition.

The pile is low and even throughout with the soft, broken-in hand that only comes from genuine age. Please note some darker tonal variation in the lower field area — refer to all photos before purchasing.

Size: 6'8" x 9'10" (202 x 300 cm)
Material: Hand-spun wool pile, cotton foundation
Construction: 100% hand-knotted
Age: Circa 1960s — genuine antique
Condition: Good
