A hauntingly soft vintage Afghan rug, centred on an ornate diamond floral medallion in dark chocolate and ivory, floating on a faded blush-peach field densely filled with sweeping vine scrolls, palmette sprays and leaf clusters in teal, ivory and camel. Years of gentle wear have washed the tones to an almost watercolour delicacy, and a wide brown border carries a continuous floral vine with teal rosettes.
