The rich jewel-red field is anything but plain, scattered with an all-over floral and boteh pattern and framed by a paisley vine border. Hand-knotted by Afghan weavers in high-quality wool, the dense medium-high pile shows a knotting density and colour depth well above ordinary production pieces.
