This antique Baluchi runner rug was hand-knotted in the 1950s in Herat, Afghanistan, and features the Ali Khuja Turkmen pattern, a rare and highly collectible design passed down through generations of tribal weavers. Measuring 2'7 x 9'6 ft (79x290 cm), this long and narrow piece is perfect for hallways, entryways, or as a statement runner in any rustic or vintage-inspired space.

Woven from 100% wool, the rug presents a warm and balanced color palette of navy blue, tan, camel, faded red, gold, and cream. The intricate Ali Khuja gul motifs and layered geometric borders give the piece a rhythmic and cultural richness that reflects traditional Afghan craftsmanship.
