Handwoven vintage Afghan Senneh-style kilim with a large elongated ivory/gold diamond medallion centered on a field that transitions from olive/gold at top to deep navy at bottom — the entire surface packed with dense all-over floral boteh & leaf motifs in pink, sky blue, green & red. The medallion is outlined in sky blue with a small red center diamond. Wide sky blue border with red outer stripe and fine multicolor floral & vase chain on all sides.
Flat weft-faced weave, wool on wool, fringed one end. The unusual field color transition from warm gold to deep navy gives this kilim a rare ombre quality — combined with the soft pink & sky blue palette this is an exceptionally fresh and sophisticated Senneh piece.
