Handwoven vintage Afghan Senneh-style kilim with a large elongated ivory diamond medallion on a rich navy & red field densely packed wall-to-wall with intricate floral boteh & leaf motifs in pink, ivory & olive green. The medallion interior carries a sky blue center diamond surrounded by layered floral fills — radiating outward in concentric ivory bands. Wide sky blue border with red stripe & fine scallop inner band on all sides.
Flat weft-faced weave, wool on wool, fringed one end. Larger format than companion 4'2x6'7 Senneh piece — the elongated medallion here stretches nearly the full length of the field creating an even more dramatic visual impact. One of the finest large-format Afghan Senneh kilims in this collection.
