Handwoven vintage Afghan Senneh-style kilim runner with a spectacular all-over repeating vertical boteh/paisley column design on a dark field. Dense rows of mirrored floral vase & leaf motifs in olive green, sky blue, pink & red create a rich, tapestry-like texture running the full length. No medallion — pure all-over vertical repeat in the finest Senneh tradition. Navy outer border with sky blue zigzag inner band and red accent stripe.
Flat weft-faced weave, wool on wool, fringed one end. Nearly 10ft long with exceptionally tight fine weave — the unusual olive green dominant palette makes this runner distinctly different from the typical red/blue Senneh colorways. A rare and sophisticated piece.
