Handwoven vintage Afghan Senneh-style kilim runner with a bold chain of 4 large elongated oval/diamond medallions in ivory & red set against a deep navy field densely packed wall-to-wall with repeating small floral boteh & hourglass motifs in red, ivory & sky blue. Each medallion has a distinctive pointed oval shape with intricate floral interior — classic Senneh medallion format at its finest. Sky blue border with red outer stripe and fine zigzag inner band.
Flat weft-faced weave, wool on wool, fringed both ends. Nearly 10ft long — the 4 large oval medallions on navy ground with rich all-over floral fill is a premium Senneh runner composition. Excellent vintage condition with outstanding color vibrancy and exceptional weave density throughout.
