Handwoven vintage Afghan Senneh-style kilim runner with a continuous elongated pink/ivory medallion spine running the full length on a deep navy field densely packed with small repeating geometric boteh & wave motifs in sky blue, gold & red. The soft pink medallion chain floats beautifully against the rich dark ground. Sky blue border with bold red outer stripe and multicolor diamond accent chain on all sides.
Flat weft-faced weave, wool on wool, fringed one end. The deep navy ground with sky blue all-over fill and soft pink central medallion chain is a strikingly elegant and rare colorway — fresh, sophisticated and highly decorative. Excellent vintage condition with outstanding weave density.
