The ivory medallion stretches nearly the full length of the field creating a dramatic central focus. Wide sky blue/grey inner border with multicolor floral fill, flanked by a bold navy/black diamond chain outer border.
Flat weft-faced weave, wool on wool, fringed one end. The soft rose red field with ivory elongated medallion gives this kilim a warm, faded antique quality — distinctly aged and deeply patinated.
