About this rug
This 4x7 ft semi antique Baluch rug was hand knotted in the early 1900s in Zabul village, Afghanistan by skilled tribal artisans. Featuring the classic Taimani design, the rug displays a mesmerizing all-over geometric pattern crafted in rich brown, camel, tan, and faded black tones.
Made from 100% wool, the rug's finely knotted construction and nomadic styling reflect deep-rooted Afghan heritage. Its earthy palette and tribal symmetry make it a versatile piece for rustic, bohemian, or traditional interiors—perfect for use in kitchens, entryways, or smaller living areas.
This rug remains in excellent condition considering its age, with natural wear that adds to its authenticity and character.
